The Sims 3 Walkthrough: Neighborhood

Jun 07, 2009 16:20

Next on the walkthrough agenda is a tour of the neighborhood and some other things on how to get a Sim's life started. This is a pretty short update, but I hope it still satisfies you simmers.

Amazing pictures & I enjoyed the tour.

My game has arrived &, thank goodness, works on the laptop though I must admit that my graphic quality is nowhere near as good as yours (very undetailed & quite dark) - which makes me appreciate the tour around town all the more.

Looking forward to the next instalment.

Thanks! I used the in-game camera for most of them. Unlike the camera in the Sims 2, the camera in the Sims 3 takes muuuch better quality pictures.
And at least your game works! A lot of my friends who have gotten it haven't been able to get it to work on their computers.

Your friends have my deepest sympathy - there is nothing more frustrating than longing to play something when your computer is not up to it.

My desktop 'died' last September & I didn't manage to get the Sims 2 working on this laptop until about 3 weeks ago (finally found some help that actually worked on how to delete the Dell only graphics driver & actually install the more up-to-date Intel one) so I am really pleased that I can play at all - even if I do have to save regularly as the laptop tends to overheat & turn off...

So by disabling the Neighborhood Story Progression, only the houses you play at the time age? I'm a bit confused by that. Great update Shanno! I'm looking forward to more!

Yeah Lily when you disable the story progression it's like The Sims 2, where no one but your house ages.
Thanks! I'm glad everyone likes it. :)
