What a day, poor you. Hope you feel somewhat better tomorrow Shannon. Rinsing your mouth with salt water helps with the pain. I had mine out under a general unaesthetic by an Oral surgeon. I recommend the general.
Aw! -Hughs Shanno- I certainly hope you feel much better tommorow! Just remember, it's one (Or maybe a couple of) Days and it's not your entire life. :] I'm not sure if I have to have my wisdom teeth removed...does everyone have to have theirs removed eventually?
I think most everyone has to get them out eventually. Some people are lucky and don't have wisdom teeth, and others are lucky enough to just not have to get them out. But I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people have to get them out. :/
This sounds familiar to mine, except mine were through the oral surgeon because all 4 of mine were impacted and growing under my back molars. After I was feeling better, like a week after. I woke up one morning to use the washroom, I was super dizzy, theroom kept spinning my hearing went to that high pitched thing and that's all I could hear and before I knew it, I fell on the ground, almost hit my head on the toilet seat. After I picked myself up I pretty much crawled up the stairs calling for my mom. Scared her half to death because I was as pale as they come and yeah... That was my experience. :P
I hope you're feeling better soon! And like Jo said, rinsing your mouth out with salty water helps a lot!
Oh wow Nicole. Yeah that was the basic experience for me, room spinning, high pitched hearing, falling. But when I woke up it was because my mom was freaking out and throwing water all over me. And my mom told me I was completely pale and my lips were white. I almost wish I could have seen myself haha.
I'm feeling better today, but I have an obligation tomorrow that I may or may not go to now. And yeah I plan on drowning my pain in salt water later. :)
I think it has something to do with nerves in your mouth, like it they're affected or something. I have no clue, but something like that is far from fun, lol.
It'll get WAY better in a few days, Shannon, trust me. :)
My mom only got one of hers out about a month ago, and they had to remove part of the bone in her jaw on top of that.

It's really not bad. And going to a surgeon will be much better because you'll actually be able to go under. Being awake the entire time is NO fun.
