so, I would rather repeat last semester's Dean's Book class and do actual work (essays and stuff) than EVER read this semester's book. I'd rather do it twice. At least that book had a point. And a plot. And coherent thoughts. I've read the first 15 pages of Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close, and I know I'm going to hate it. It rambles. About

yes, things will be better
eh, my bad mood will be gone by this evening. I'm driving up to stay with my aunt and uncle for a couple days, my aunt is a teacher, so she's starting back to school stuff, and me and my sister are going to watch our cousins for the two days where she has the most intense stuff to do. We're going to have fun :)
it was kind of a weird bad mood, not quite sure where it came from. Maybe it's just 'cause there's so much stuff going on and I've got so much shit to do in the next 2 weeks :p

I too am pissed, which is a random contrast from today. I effed something up on my schedule, and now it's probably unfixable. I am stupid. You should totally just see if there's info on the internet about the book and look it up that way, lol.

aw :( I hate class scheduling, it's always a pain in the ass.
yeah, I've pretty much decided to wait until the class starts and I get the syllabus and see if we're going to actually do any work requiring effort and actually having read more than 100 pages or so of the book. If not, I'm willing to read 50-100 pages of it so I can bullshit my way through the class. 'Cause you're right, there's probably stuff about it online. I'm just mad that I bought the damn thing :p

All I got from that class is my weirdo indie teacher going on about how pretentious the font Comic Sans MS is.
What a fucking toolbag that guy was.
To top all this off, I predict you will have a Professor Trelawney-like hippie teacher who thinks this douche's writing is "unique" and "evocative" and "representative of incoherent childlike emotions".
I have been with 9 year olds and unless they have ADD they do not think like that.
