(and try not to make all many of them anime-related, as I've seen/read a relatively small amount of anime/manga :p)
Yesterday we went to my aunt and uncle's house in New Hampshire for, well, I guess you'd call it a family reunion. Almost everyone was there. The only ones missing were my aunt and uncle who live in Maine, and my Uncle Jeff, who is one of those people you're lucky if you hear from every few months. My cousin Meredith and her family, who we haven't met yet because she moved to California where her husband grew up, drove to Ohio, where my aunt and uncle (her parents) live, and all of them then drove to New Hampshire to stay with my grandmother. The last time we saw Meredith was when she had her first daughter, four years ago, and came with my aunt to visit everybody. That was our last family reunion lol. Anyway, it was fun meeting her husband Andrew and seeing her two daughters. OMG THEY ARE THE MOST PRECIOUS LITTLE GIRLS. Elyce is four and Evelyn is two. They have blond hair (how I have no idea, Meredith and Andrew both have dark hair, it must be from Andrew's side because no one in our family has blond hair) and Evelyn has that adorable little kid giggle/chuckle/cackle. It was hilarious, my aunt has one of those little plastic play houses in her back yard, and they went over to play in it, and instead of running away screaming because of the bugs, they stood in the doorway and yelled at them "to scare the bugs away". It wasn't high-pitched screaming, thank god, more like "raaaaaaaahhh" yelling. It was good to see my aunt again, of course, and I haven't seen my uncle in years. haha Meredith said to me that she and Katie (one of my other cousins, she just had a baby a few months ago who I saw for the first time yesterday, she's adorable) were talking about how having kids makes them feel old, because they can remember "baby Shannon" :D
The person I'd really like to see is my cousin Aaron, one of Meredith's brothers, it's got to be like 7 years or something since I've seen him. Maybe it's because he's the only one of my cousins who is my age. He's one year older than me, everyone else is at least five years, me and my sister are the youngest except for our twin cousins who are nine. He just got back from his mission in the Philippines (they're Mormon), and is going back to the Navy academy in Annapolis.
aaand that's my random family rambling :p
and if you want my opinion on the new Harry Potter movie ask, I'm too lazy to write a review now, lol, other than saying the ending was RIDICULOUS AND LAME, taking out the big battle at Hogwarts. And Ron stole the movie :D
