It's still a bit early, but I've started the process of speaking to the management of a couple of teams to see where they are in terms of what they're looking for in their Chasers and all of that.
I've certainly got my work cut out for me if I want to make this work, but time's on my side. I think the rust has finally been shaken off.
Wow, what a weekend. Neither Devin nor myself had a match (and I didn't have to work at the inn past a Friday night shift), so we spent most of the weekend at home, with Jimmy.
Now, I could write pages and pages about Jimmy (he's six months old now, good Lord), but seeing as how I feel a nap coming on any second now, I'll spare the gory details and just say that he's basically on the mark for where he should be at this stage of the game. His new favourite activities? Babbling (even more than usual) and picking things up for the sole purpose of dropping them. He thinks it's hysterical.
The Kestrels won yesterday, so that's also good.
Hogwarts lets out in a few days, so I imagine I'll be either making a couple of trip over to my parents', or having some visitors because I know Bridge and Niamh will want to see Jimmy before the have to go back to school. Kieran too, though he's less vocal about it.
