Yesterday was sort of an ordeal, but still better for all concerned then last time. We got to L & D and sat in triage for forever...a couple of emergency sections bumped us, and my midwives' surgeon had a patient at the other hospital who was dilated to 9. Luckily her delivery went smoothly from there and we were able to get going by 4:30

Ah, the drama of birth. But as women, we have the right to repeat those stories over and over, as often as we please!

You'll have to post pictures of the little dumpling as soon as you're up to it!

Congratulations Shannon!!! Im so happy for you and your family....Im extremely tired right now and a little bleary eyed...did i miss something...what did you name her?! I cant believe youre up and typing...well i guess i can..i was up and around and cooking for everybody the day after my second was born....so glad all went well..please post pics when youre feeling better. Hope she sleeps the night for you!!!
