It had completely slipped my mind that today was Fat Tuesday, until I got to work and saw beads and decorations everywhere (I got to wear a bunch of beads all day, and didn’t even have to show my boobies for them!). It all worked out perfectly, because I had forgotten my lunch at home, and all the departments had tons of goodies out. Booya, free

I actually like the idea I've seen some people adopt, which is picking up a good daily habit for Lent. It's the same general concept, with a more positive spin to it.
