yeah, yeah, yeah, you people and your "Lost". So fine, whatever. BUT -- there is no way that the pilot of Lost had better visual effects than two SG-1 Episodes AND two Battle Star episodes. Simply. No. Way.

And, my precious Deadwood was seriously under appreciated.

Haven't look at the awards yet - but if Lost beat out Deadwood - yeah - I will back you - I think Deadwood is a better show artistically - although that is saying a lot - Lost is pretty damn good.

Deadwood one a few awards, but they were not the "big" ones.

Yes, they do have excellent cosutuming. They did deserve that award, but IAN.

I haven't seen anything on SG-1 that makes me forget Star Trek, but BSG has done a really good job with their FX. If Lost somehow won a technical category, then it should be attributed to the fact that the voters just vote for shows they like instead of deserving shows.

Generally speaking, this is why I rely more on my friends to tell me what TV is good, rather than reviewers, voters or awards shows :)

Perhaps some day we can determine categories, drink beer and hand out our own awards.
