Looking for an electrician-type...

So, our dryer has stopped working. Yes, its plugged in. Yes, we checked the circuit breaker.

Don't suppose any of our friends in LJ-land can fix a dryer? It's a GE electric dryer, bought less than 10 years ago.

I am nearly 100% certain that Shaun's dad knows how to fix these things. If i remember correctly he fixed his own not all that long ago.

Nope. Didn't turn on at all. Ended up being the thermal fuse. Major props to Carolina Appliance Service - prompt, pleasant and efficient, and not unreasonable cost-wise.

With a 6 month old in the house, washer/dryer working in required!!
