Oh God I'm scared

Mikey informed me this morning that his orders were being fed-exed from Fort Hood and could be here today or Monday. He also told me that we could start clearing as early as Monday. God I'm scared. It's not enough time. Clearing post takes only two weeks. I'm so worried.

Don't sweat it doll. I had to clear post at the end of my last tour in Alabama in 48 hours, and that was from a standing stop, no pre-packing or house cleaning at all. You're already ahead of the game with the work you've done, so just get everything else that you won't need for a few days packed up, and let the movers take care of the rest.

You'll be surprised how accomodating the base housing people will be, especially since you've shown that you've at least made an effort to clean/repair everything. 75% of base housing occupants usually leave the place in worse condition (if you can believe that) than when they got it.

And if that don't help, remember this...you're leaving there to come back here. That's gotta be worth something ;-)

So chill baby. Don't freak out, 'cause you're already on top of things. Focus and plan, just like you've been doing, and all will be well.
