30) Strangers with Candy (1999-2000)* - ok I can agree with this
29) Absolutely Fabulous (1994-2003) - not really sure I woudl call this cult, mopre like a gayboy wank fest with jokes.
28) Stargate SG-1 (1997-2007)* - crap show but I guess it does have it's followers
27) H.R. Pufnstuf (1969-1971) - I want the drugs the creator of this show was on lol ( Read more... )

If I was to build a list of cult series from that list, I'd list Star Trek as #1 with Absolutely Fabulous and HR Pufinstuff high up in the list.

I don't think much of Doctor Who, I'm sorry - I think I've managed to sit through two episodes of the entire run of new episodes.

You're right about Battlestar Gallactica - the original was much better - the new series has too much American cultural and military grunt and bravado to hold my interest.

Farscape was ok but hardly anything to write home about.

Stargate the movie was great, but the characters in the series irritate me, especially the Colonel.

That's my two-pennies worth :o)

Hope you're well :o)

i would have liked to see roswell somewhere on the list but understand why it didnt make it, not too many people have discovered it yet. and, at least personally, i would have put buffy at number one (cause i love the show and know a lot of people that do) and put xfile alot lower then number 2 (granted it was on for a long time, but how many people are as big of xfiles fans as buffy fans are of their show?).

ive never watched dr who, never cared enough to... just doesnt interest me. same with the variations of star trek. veronica mars, havent watch any of it yet but marty and i do own season one. and freeks and geeks, dont own it yet but that is a series that i would like to see at some point.

oh, and i see lost and xfiles being in the same category... not really that good but people watch them for some reason... i like lost moreso then xfiles...

I personally would put Buffy at #2. I think a cult show should be judged by by how innovative it was at the time and how it's changed the face of TV in general as a result ( ... )

I'm not as familiar with the original Doctor Who, but I have enjoyed the new series alot since I started watching during the 2nd season.

I have no idea what Blakes 7 or Not the 9 O'clock news is.
