I don't know, my english teacher teaches 7th hour at woodside, and they watched a movie about that Oakdale thing.
He told us people got their balls cut off so they wouldn't have kids, but he might've been just bullshitting us.

well, they do that still today to sex offenders... They no longer "cut them off", just use medicine so you no longer can have sex or want to.

I know they would snip them in the past. That is quite a big difference than torture.
