I'm so very glad that your job feels like a great fit. I'm sure the honeymoon stage is over by now, and if you still enjoy the day-to-day then that's great!
I think it's wonderful that you're the person in a research department that gets the word out via their intranet (and extra-net! even better). They need you, you help make them look good.
I have also been "sprinting at work and collapsing at home" these past couple of months (I'm now library overseer ;-) at the center) and just starting to breathe. I've also been a "bad blogger." I'm finding that taking walks durning breaks does wonders for my mental state. I started out by eating at my desk and reading online as a "break." That was a mistake. I need a physical and mental break from work mid-day in order to keep sane.
Let me know if you find any other ways to handle things. Tricia
