So i log in today to find that it is exactly 1 year from my last post.... kind of weird. I'm not exactly where I thought I'd be, but I'm pretty close. I got through boot camp, qualified as an AO (I finally got my dream job of building weapons), am at the top of all my classes, will probably be given an advanced promotion to Petty Officer 3rd

I'm pretty sure I'm the only person still on livejournal because its one of the few places thati snt blocked on my server at work lol. I'm glad you're enjoying the navy and that you seem ot be kicking ass in it. As for the rest, since i have no idea what its in reference to all i have to say is: you are a nice guy, please don't ever stop being because you're at unicorn level of rare. =]

Holy shit, Cameron. In the four years that I have known you, this is the first I have ever heard you speak like this, and I'm glad I was able to hear it. I'm also glad that you're through with that period of time where you shut people out- not only because I didn't want to be shut out (selfish me), but because it means that you've healed enough where you're on the road to being able to fully move on with your life- and as your friend, I'm happy for you.

I know our relationship has always been sarcasm, sexual innuendos and banter, but I'm happy when I get to see glimpses of this side of you, too. And you're right: you are a good guy, they are a dying breed, but never be ashamed of that.

For what it's worth- I'm proud of you, and you should be proud of yourself- you deserve it.
