yeah, jimmy eat world wrote "goodbye sky harbor" in reference to owen meany. if you haven't heard the song before, find it (or the lyrics) and see whether bits of the book come back to you. I read the book after having heard the song already, and waited eagerly for any familiar words to pop out of the pages at me. which they did. there are physical chills to accompany that sort of thing, and I won't soon forget them.
