Breaking up with my TV shows

Dear Grey’s and Gossip,

This is me breaking up with you. Trust me, it’s you not me. I will continue to read the amazing fanfiction on ff.com and lj, seeing as the plots and dialog are quite superior to the writing that is done on your respective shows.

Monday and Thursday nights used to be time to watch my favorite nights. I would run up to my ( Read more... )

Sorry your shows have been disapointing. Hopefully the writers stop making with the suckage.

Criminal Minds FTW! I can't wait for the 100th episode.

And Sue Sylvester is made of win.

Her job was the only thing she had? What was Alex then? A bedwarmer?

EXACTLY MY THOUGHTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn't get a chance to watch Thursday's episode until tonight, and I wanted to slap her silly! I liked Izzy - I especially liked the story line about the child she gave up for adoption - but, when she slept with George, and then cheated on Alex with her dead fiance...and now this? I am done. Put a fork in me. Well, put a fork in Izzie.

I want Izzie to be hit by a bus. There, I said it. I hate Izzie Stevens. She is selfish, stupid, and has no redeeming characteristics at the moment. The way she blamed everyone for her being fired was not cool. Despite what Alex did, Izzie had no right whatsoever of speaking to him like that. Her job was the only thing she had? What was Alex then? A bedwarmer? To quote Mark Sloan, pathetic. I want her gone.

Ugh--I SO agree. I have a theory that the writers are pissed at KHeigl for her snotty comments about not being given Emmy-worthy material last season (despite the fact that theose writers did help her win an Emmy the year previous) so they're intentionally making Izzie as hateful as possible.

Yeah, never anger your writers.

It reminds me of Friends, when Joey made the stupid comment about the writers in Soap Opera Digest, and then his character fell down an elevator shaft. :)

Rumor has it that on "Mad About You," the reason that Jamie became an insufferable bitch near the end of the show's run is because Helen Hunt had become an insufferable bitch in real life and the writers couldn't stand her.
