I have been home for all of 5 days and already I am dying to move out. I love my mum, but she is a complete headcase. One minute I'm too fat and she's pulling the toast out of my hands, the next minute I'm not ambitious enough and the minute after my new haircut won't help me on the road to becoming a news presenter (reality check mum, I don't even ( Read more... )

Hey sexypants! Glad to hear you're back, how was the trip? Are you in Sydney or Bathurst or somewhere else? If you're in Syd we should totally hang out. I miss you and your fabulous conversations. Oh and Senior Austin texted me the other day. Wtf. Haha. But yeah. Miss you. xoxo

*hug* I know the feeling. As soon as I was back from the states, it was "Holy crap get out get out get ouuuuttt!"

Gotta think about a few things first though: Do you want a place by yourself, or do you want roomies? Inner-city, or suburbs? (Unless you're back at uni in Bathurst) And how much money do you plan on spending on rent/utilities etc?

(Cause, you know, that stuff sucks...)

And on the dissapointment side of things? *hugs some more* also know how that feels. Once you can start showing her things you have done (The internship once it gets going for example) she might be like my mother and calm on that for a while... until there is a new thing.

I have found though, that mum, though crazy as all fuck, is a lot more tolerable now that I see her once every fortnight, and she doesn't have the time to start going crazy on how I disappoint her :P

Yeah, it's only cause I've been home more than usual that were starting to clash. I really just can't wait to get out though. Thanks for the words of wisdom!

How's Jon and Sydney life going for you?

Heh, more words of "Well, this is what happened to me..."

Life is good. Life 10 minutes from my work is awesome. Life where Jon can work here is awesomer still.

(Living in the city: Rent expensive, everything else? Not so much really :P)

Hey!! Congratulations on the internship!! there is so much competition in the marketing industry!! Good on you!! :D *big hugs*

Don't worry about ur mum, I think parents just always want the best for their child and don't realise their achievements already and alays want more lol

I've already started, it's really intense. Its at a full service media agency. I started out in the online digital department, but now I'm doing work for the Performance/Sponsorship, helping develop strategies and whatnot.

Anyways, how have you been buttercup? u still at uni doing marketing/accounting? (was that what you were doing exactly? I can't remember!)

Love you long time! xx
