ENROLLMENT Well-off family. His dad works for a huge Japanese corporation.

APPEARANCE: http://zappaslaverp.pbworks.com/f/1235785486/Yoyo.jpg
PERSONALITY: Yoyo fancies himself a smooth talker with a silver tongue. In his own little world, he can spin words to make the ladies' hearts melt. He never reserves an opinion on a girl's positive looks, but is prone to using the wrong terms. More than likely, he uses one of the two extremes of a description; quick and blunt, or so many elaborate adjectives that the whole purpose is lost and forgotten. Thus far, he's had little success, especially amongst his own, though, on rare occasion, he manages to succeed, swooning those that he ends up never seeing once again (damn those tourists and foreigners.)

But as much as he loves the ladies, art is his first love. Any flat surface he can reach is an instant canvass for him to express himself. Oft, his murals might be gifts to a girl whose eye he tries to capture. His smaller, easier to place tags are mostly for marking territory for the GG's. Yoyo keeps himself laid back and working on new tags and murals whenever he's not out skating, tagging, or stuck in school being bored to death. To him, art is far more important than most material things. It's nigh-impossible to find him without some sort of painting medium, be it a can of spray paint, or a tube of acrylic for those cases where metal detectors are quite apparent.

Unlike the rest of his crew back in Japan, Yoyo wasn't too interested in all the territory war that went on between different tagger gangs. He was in it for the sake of having a larger variety of "canvasses" to paint on as he saw fit. Plus, the people he ran with were a pretty fun and friendly bunch, who mostly thought the same. However the manner of repression police used to squash graffiti artists made for the occasional subject for a new piece. It wasn't always that he painted for the sake of the ladies, or, whatever abstract design he'd cooked up.

COMPUTER APTITUDE: Competent, but no hacking or hardly any toward that for filtering.
WEAKNESSES (OPTIONAL): Yoyo's grades are sub par and he holds no eye for the consequence for WHERE he paints.

AU HISTORY: Yoyo lived with his family in the better parts around Shibuya. His dad forks in a high seat in a large corporation. Mom's a homemaker.

Yoyo had grown up always with a love for art, and frequented to drawing outside, though, sadly limited to the canvas of paper. One afternoon, a member of the tagging gang known as the GGs came upon him and his art. It was easy to turn Yoyo to a new medium as he was handed his first can of spray paint. The problem was, he didn't have what the rest of the gang did in order to have him keep up with the rest; roller blades. He went without them for a while, having to get to and fro on foot and train. It was a good year amongst the GGs before Yoyo saved up for his own skates.

As the few years went by, Yoyo shifted from drawing and painting on paper, to larger pieces on the walls and trains of Japan, though it was Shibuya that was his "turf". However when it comes to "gangs", turf is always a problem, and there were a handful of other gangs that would have the GGs' turf as their own. Battles, as fought by quantity of graffiti as well as physical, were frequent, but Yoyo, personally, had no interest in them. Besides the other gangs, police were also a problem, keeping everyone from painting as they saw fit. Though most of the GGs busied themselves in "battles" with other gangs, Yoyo took his "arms" against the police and their artistic suppression.

However, Yoyo was caught, the first time, painting on a corporate building, in a piece speaking out against the police's suppression. With no previous "criminal record", he was let off with a warning, but not without repercussion. The building in which he painted on was the one that housed the company his father worked for. And in this company, a shame such as a delinquent child has terrible repercussion. He did not want to punish his son, but Yoyo's dad couldn't sit by for long and not do anything about this.

His hand was forced the second time, weeks later, when Yoyo was caught again, attempting to finish the piece he'd once started.

But how did Yoyo get caught, not once, but twice, in the same location, on the same piece? Yoyo planned his timing around one of the many fights between rival gangs, to which the police would quickly respond. Things went well, until Yoyo forgot about the building's own security. The first time he was caught, and the police were called. The second time, he was caught by his own father, working late at the office. It was at this point he had to concede that his son was a delinquent, and this would bring upon untold shame in his company, were this to get out. Taking it upon himself to punish his son, rather than the police, or any of this going public, Yoyo's father cast him out, essentially banishing him from home until he finished his education, or reformed (by preference of his father, whichever would come second).

Spending from his own pocket, he sent Yoyo off to a boarding school half a world away, to Reims Academy.

SAMPLES
INTRANET/1ST PERSON SAMPLE Yo man... anyone know why it's so damn hard to get spray paint around here? I mean, it's like the whole country is against me or something, cuz there ain't anything around on mainland that sells it. I thought a whole buncha famous painters came from France, right? Or wassat Italy? I dunno man. I'm all out, and I don't like this... whole... fingerpainting thing I've resorted to.

It's lame.

At least it's not like I'm using a paint brush. That'd be real regression. I can't get the same like... lines with it. S'awkward.

Wait... back on point... Spraypaint. Where do I get the stuff around here? Don't tell me I gotta get it like... imported or something? I do not have money for that man.

I shoulda been more frugal about it... seriously.
