Congratulations. This is a very impressive number. It took me nine months to lose 50-60 lb the first time.

Easier for me to lose a lot. I had vastly more to lose if I had to guess. Losing 144 lbs (from my starting weight) will still have me overweight on BMI. I will be smaller than I have been since the 6th grade, but I have been significantly overweight for close to 25 years. And over 300 pounds for probably 15 years. When you are that overweight, it seems amazing to lose that much weight in so short a time, but it is barely a third of what I am planning to lose.

At my target weight, my BMI would be a 28.4. Solidly in the overweight category. But still significantly healthier than the 40 or so I am at now. Not that BMI is really an indicator of much. One of my coworkers is 6'3, 240, and has somewhere in the neighborhood of 5% body fat, but is considered obese by BMI standards. lol
