I thought this was my job now. Although I am still confused between an RA and a TA. Just that we get the same dorms.

Well, I think the main difference is that an RA mostly takes care of stuff related to the students and the dorms and stuff and a TA helps teachers out with their classes. But I could be wrong.

As for fun stuff... I guess that kinda depends on what you think of as fun. I like to lift weights and train in the gym. There's a library to read in if you like books. Then there's the city which is full of places to eat and stuff to look at. What kinds of things do you enjoy doing?
