TV stuff, mostly Westworld

I did the disappearing thing again - partly because, as usual, I've been gadding about from place to place a lot, and partly because (as usual these days), I feel I have nothing of interest to say. :(

The last few days, though, there's been a third reason, which is that I've been binge-watching (something I very rarely do) season 2 of Westworld

I'm so pleased to hear you enjoyed it, especially as there seemed to be a lot of fans who didn't. God only knows why because I loved it.

Now you see what I mean about the evolution of the hosts and who we thought was the first to evolve in fact wasn't.

I don't understand that either. I thought it was terrific, and a lot less difficult to stomach than season 1, where at times (many times), it just seemed to be horrible violence for violence' sake. Season 2 managed to put even some of that in context.

I just wish I didn't dislike Dolores quite so much, though.

It's been a few years since I've written fic also. I just don't have the ideas anymore. I'm glad to know other people are still writing though. :)

Yes, it's good to know. I just wish I'd managed to finish my last WIP. I still want to, but I just don't see it happening any time soon. :(

I'm afraid so. Though less afraid than I was back when I thought they got cancelled unexpectedly.
