Court, if you were to do that, you'd make me the happiest person ever. The only thing is that it's tomorrow and you'd have to get there early. If this is open to the public, stuff's going to go fast, like within a half hour-hour.
Also, if you do go and you find something that would be cool and isn't too much money, I'll totally send you the cash for it and then some, but just grab it. I need a piece of this show.
I just had a geek gasm. I want the painting that Pop Pop and then George Michael posed in as Zeus. The banana stand, the signs from when Tobias and Lindsay and Maeby did their band, anything Gob used in his magic shows (or anything he touched, really). I need to watch season 2. I missed so much. But I want Buster's claw. And so many other things. Its absence makes me weep.
They're actually selling the trick coffiin that Gob used during the wake.
There's just so much stuff I want. I'm one of those people that will save even the smallest reminder of something, as long as it's tangible, just so I have something to help me remember. Because of this, my room is overrun with mementos and little things that everyone else thinks is garbage but is priceless to me. That's why if I were able to get something, even if it was miniscule and not very memorable, it would be one of my most treasured possessions to forever remind me of a show that I love.
But, yeah, unless I have superpowers I didn't know about, I'm getting squat.
omg, something from the banana stand! That's what I want. Or some sort of magic trick that Gob had. Or... I know! The bag that says, "Dead dove. DO NOT EAT." HAHA. That would be the greatest thing.
I would love the sign that says, "The banana maker is IN" or the photo of George Sr. that hangs in the stand. Also, a Bluth family banana stand uniform would be so rockable. THERE'S JUST SO MUCH STUFF I WANT.
I was actually thinking the other day how awesome it would be to dress up as Gob for Halloween, and the "Dead dove DO NOT EAT" bag would be an essential prop for the costume.
I'm sure there are so many things that I want that I can't even think of. I miss that show already. And man, the more I look at that Milford sign the more I want it.
I've been thinking for a while about how once I have my own apartment I am going to put all these weird references to things in it. The "Dead dove DO NOT EAT" bag is on the list with a "Bucket of Truth" and a concrete donkey.
Oh my god, I'm the exact same way! Since I constantly reference TV shows and movies, I want every surface to have something relating to a joke that almost no one will get but me.
As long as it makes me laugh, I don't mind the stares.

i don't know. there's so much STUFF on that show. i'd even be content with the lamps or paintings on the wall.
i saw a red hand chair exactly like buster's randomly in a living room set in a skit on jimmy kimmel live tonight, and it made me curious..

I totally forgot about Gob's stripper pants. Those would be so damn awesome! (Plus, they'd have touched his crotchal region.)
I've seen the hand chair's before, and while they're the most uncomfortable chairs ever made, I want one with a firey passion.
I'M A MONSTER!!!

Maybe I'd just take the sign for the banana stand...
