Last night, I went to the SoHo Apple Store to see Amy Sedaris and Paul Dinello discuss the SWC movie. dream_aloud and st_raoul were supposed to come, too, but Janis hurt her neck, so I ventured out alone.
I left work right after the dress rehearsal was finished, and I arrived downtown at around 7. Every seat in the theatre was already taken, so I stood up front ( Read more... )

I have tickets to see Amy and Paul at the Arclight showing of SWC. I'm still stumped on what to ask. Your question was good.

I'm not 100% positive, but my boyfriend, who bought the tickets, told me it says on the website that he'll be a part of the evening. I hope he's right!

I'm going to a similar event this Friday with Amy and Paul at the AMMI. It should kick massive amounts of ass. I can't wait to see the film. According to Antonia, they didn't cut the scene where I was a prominent extra, so I'm dying to see if I'm visible on-screen. If I am, I just might die of happiness right then and there.

And feel free to take the question. You can modify it as you want if you don't want to ask the same thing. :)

Aww. Thanks a lot. I have a very Kathy Griffin-esque way of telling stories, so I never know if they translate well when written.

Also, I get confused. ::picks her up from the shock of that:: Why does everything say this is a 2005 movie when it's just being released now?

The movie should have been released last year, but Warner Bros. Independent shelved it until ThinkFilms bought it from them. It was filmed in the summer of 2004.

Sorry to butt in, lol... But I think a lot of websites list a 2005 release date for the movie since it premiered at Sundance in 2005.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. I didn't know that any festival premieres become the film's official release date. Is that even how it works?

I'm so confused by all this distribution crap. I have nothing to do with it, anyway.
