Had a little A/V equipment tutorial yesterday. That was easy - but it reminded me of how I'll actually have to use the A/V's to teach next week. So I immediately went out and bought a lovely pair of raspberry leather long gloves for winter at a remarkable discount. I feel better

That's awesome. When one of your students gets out of line you can slowly draw off a single glove and smack him heartily about the face. And when the poor tenderized flesh turns red you can say, "don't worry darling; that's just a smidgen of raspberry."
