and I'm gonna volunteer as a docent at the shoe museum. don't you want to do it, too? Training starts oct 3. Its tuesday 6:30-8:30 for six weeks.

Cool wannabe PhD's should be docents. Sometimes grumpy socialites with awesome shoes probably should too.

I have never seen a cranky face that looks so like a Swedish Berry.
Ho ho ho, those jolly Swedes and their sweet candy berries!
When we are in Hawaii we will drink Hawaiin Punch and Tahiti Treat garnished with the finest imported / smuggled if necessary Swedish Berries. They will float in oversized martini glasses and it will certainly be delightful.

(delusion crumbling, denial fading, dissertation panic washing in . . . quick, more berries.)

Alcohol is my best friend. Also, swedish berries are made with real juice. I'm thinking vodka and swedish berries, my fellow panicking dudes. Never let the delusions crumble! Denial forever!

I hate to burst any bubbles, but having a job does not necessarily make panic and denial suddenly vanish. Sorry to ruin the surprise. Next time you have a denial/alcohol party, let me know and I'll join in on speaker phone or something.
