Letting It Go is good times. Word on the street is that all the cool kids are doing it. It's so in-your-face and trendy. It's right up there with Picking Your Battles, or my personal favourite, Screw the Bunch of You. Not *you*, obviously--and not literally, heavens--just--I think I may need to take that one back to the drawing-board. But kudos all the same. I just did another round of marking and they all apply quite well.
PP, I feel your pain, and I'm sorry you're in it. But soon it will be the holidays (seriously, the next time you look up, it'll be time), and we can all drink ourselves into a lovely, fuzzy oblivion. I'm stocking up on mulled wine ingredients.
Quite possibly. I'll be spending some time in the Q-dot and some time in the Loo (two quite misleading abbreviations but you know what they mean), and it's still up in the air. If I am in the Loo I will definitely swing by for a good w(h)ine-fest. In fact, I'll be there in a couple of weeks for the whole cap'n'gown thing. My parents will be there too, if any of you are around.
Good for you on Letting It Go. I TA'd with the person in question once, and she was a grumper. Letting It Go combined with multiple demonstrations of your teaching awesomeness (WebCT, PowerPoint superiority, obvious technological acumen) has got to be good for your blood pressure.
