Yeah. It has something to do with my world. Iron Man--that's his code name--is one of the people behind enforcement of the Superhero Registration Act in my world. Basically they want all superpowered people to register so they can be found in case they step out of line.
Of course, the problem is that the people who are most likely to step out of line aren't going to register. And if you have a problem with the idea of the government having all your vital details, for whatever reason, then you're an Enemy of the State.
I have no idea why he's decided that coming to the Nexus and trying to force things here is a good idea. None at all.
That's why I have to talk to him. Given the way I mouthed off, I'm a dissenter at best and Enemy of the State at worst. Either way, I'm going to need an escape plan for him.
I'm just tired of this shit. I'm not even living in my home universe because of it. Now it's following me to the Nexus?
Need any help? *he always feels strange asking that of people who probably are on his level or better, but it's better to have it out there just in case*
Given the attitude the Nexus has about this kind of thing, I wouldn't expect to stay. You're not the only one who sees this for what it is.
I'll let you know. I'm going to need places I can send him if we get attacked. Right now, I'm thinking that the Nightwing he's made plans with may be the best choice, but the more places I have lined up, the less likely he'll be followed.
No, I doubt it'll stay in the Nexus very long. But long enough, probably.
He's a DAMN IDIOT, Shard. Cops are civilians, and the fact that he doesn't even know THAT much just makes me wonder how much dumber the rest of his world is!
*Smiles* If he was, we probably wouldn't have had an Iron Man in the first place.
I think he's got some weirdassed idea that just because we're from the future and you carry a big gun that we're somehow military. *Not that the X.S.E. was terribly far off sometimes, but you did what you had to do.*
*smiles back* Well, yeah. But I meant even the one you're in now.
There's a guy who has shown up on the other side of the Nexus. He's...well, not exactly from my world, but close enough. Trying to force the superpowered folks of the Nexus to register, or face the consequences.

It's too bad. He used to be a fairly decent guy, all said.

Do you think he can track people down?

I'm not PINpointing straight home from the Nexus for a while.

You can take care of yourself, so I wouldn't worry too much if he tries anything -- Except you've got someone extra to worry about, huh?

Be careful yourself.

An' I'm not in an invading army. I'm a cop, not a soldier.

I can't tell you how glad I am to know that he's not from our world.

Dead pool? I doubt anybody's going to kill him.
...
Try, yes, but probably not actually kill him.
