Shard didn't really understand what Christmas was at five years old. It wasn't that they hadn't celebrated it at all. It was more that celebrations had been a lot different when she was a child

"Mmph?" Bruce rolled over, the batmobile shirt EBB got him pillowing his face as he cracks his one eye open a bit, blurrily. "Shard? Merry Christmas, go back to bed, shortstack, Santa isn't here yet."
She had to grin at that. "Yeah. About that. Guess I sort of fell down on the job." The smell of coffee proceeded her in as she kicked the door shut behind her. "Think you can forgive me for that?"
"Yeah, it's me. Adult me, even." She moved forward, sitting on the edge of the bed before offering his cup over. "I've got to admit, it's sort of strange to be the right size with all my memories again."
She smiled, taking a sip of her coffee. "I owe you and Alfred both quite a lot."

Bruce sits upright, giving her a smile. "You've had a growth spurt, it seems. Merry Christmas." He unsubtly holds his hands out for the coffee cup.
