[how about the park?] delinquent_monk February 19 2011, 22:22:01 UTC
Miroku had been spending most of his time exploring--this world was unlike anything he had ever seen before, and he had a mind to investigate all of it. It would have been lying to say that he hadn't been a bit jealous of Inuyasha for being able to visit Kagome's world through the well, and while he knew that this wasn't it, it was still something. He had investigated most of the plaza already, so today he had ventured east, only to find that most of the land to the east of the plaza was flora. Miroku liked nature well enough, but there was plenty of that back home... After exploring the trees and grassy areas for a little while and finding neither more interesting stores nor an acceptable selection of pretty girls afoot, he turned around to head back to the central area. Maybe it was time to rethink his strategy ( ... )

You read my mind my dear. shard_finder February 20 2011, 04:44:19 UTC
Unconsciously, she had headed towards the park because it represented peace and a source of comfort. She would have headed towards the forest, but the park was closer.

She didn't hear his voice, as she continued walking on. When she felt his shoulder, she jumped slightly. She glanced at him, but her eyes were still slightly unfocused.

"I need to leave here."

James was trying to catch his fairy again. It was perfect as a Snitch in terms of size and tendency to evade, but it was as though someone had put a charm on it to repel humans. James was very rarely outwitted by the tiny golden balls, but the fairy that hovered over shoulder was doing a far better job of avoiding being caught than any Snitch ever had.

The more frustrated James got that he couldn't catch it, the more he became determined to catch it, to the point where he wasn't paying attention to anything else. So he went running, eyes on the little blue ball of light, and didn't look up to the world in time to stop him crashing right into someone.

"--Bugger, sorry!" he exclaimed, automatically reaching out to steady the other.

Kagome didn't see the young man trying to catch the fairy. She was so deep in her thoughts that it wasn't until she felt someone crash into her, that brought her out of them.

"AHH"

She couldn't help to but scream as she reached out to grab on something to stop her from falling. She blinked up at him with concern. "Are you okay! I'm so sorry!"

"Nah, you're fine, mate," he said, making sure neither of them was about to topple over before letting go his hold on Kagome's arms. "I've taken many worse blows than that, for sure. No foul." He gave her a grin and a thumbs-up.

She gave him a slight smile and took a step backwards after he let go of her arm. Her smile grew as he gave her a thumbs-up. For a second she forgot about her pain. "I'm uh glad to hear it. What were you doing anyways?"
