It seems like so many of my friends are leaving recently. Although some of them came back, some of them have not. How are we able to return and should we feel guilty at the fact that we are relieved when we see their familiar face?
[She's quiet for a few more seconds.]
I wonder if it has to do with the high Priestess or the coral. How do you choose?

I don't think we should feel guilty. Really, we have no say in the matter. They would have come and gone just the same if we weren't around to miss them. So I think its perfectly alright to be relieved to see someone return here. The least you can do is make there time spent here a happy one. Besides, nobody want's to come back to a sad face, right? [A goofy smile for you, Kagome. She's recently pulled herself out of her Cloud-induced-funk and doesn't want to see you moping about now instead.]
And maybe... maybe the reason why we aren't told when we'll leave is because it's easier that way. Maybe it's easier not to say goodbye. Even though its a bit harder on the people who remain once they've left.

At least it'll give us notice. We can prepare ourselves instead of having them there one day and gone the next...

But, that's kind of how everything in life is, you know? Things happen and we don't get a warning first. You never know how long you'll be alive, or how long the people around you will be there. You don't know how long you'll be in one place or the next. You aren't told ahead of time about the people you'll meet or the places you'll go. Some good, some bad, but they still happen all the same. And they happen for a reason. Even though we can't see that reason now, it's there.

I know but this is different. We're prisoners here so when they decide to kick someone out, they can at least give us warning before doing so.

Counting down until good bye can be just as cruel. As long as we have these memories with us, we can keep going. Even if it's not the same as having them here with us... You still remember them. Keep the good times fresh in your mind.

I don't think the Proestess has anything to do with it. It seems like something out of her influence.
The Lamufao, though...

I thought that the Priestess was higher then Alpha.
[She shakes her head and offers him a smile.]
You must be relieved that Touka-chan is back.

[There's a sigh of relief]
Yeah, you bet.

[She smiles at him. She can't help but to try to nudge him.]
Are you going to go on your date now?

Leaving without a chance to say goodbye...
[ Two faces come to mind. Both are no longer around. ]
...Even without this place's help, that'll still happen. All you can do is move on.

It might but maybe not those closest to you. I know that it just...its just not right.

[ Sion can understand being sad, but acting like it's so horrible when they're finally able to see their home again after being trapped somewhere for who knows how long? He doesn't know the situation, but he doubts everyone here never want to see their homes, the people they left behind, again. So, no, no sugar coating for you. ]
Quit acting like they're dead when they leave.

That's not what I meant or was trying to imply.
[She's quiet again]
It's not like I don't feel glad that they get to go home but for the rest of us who remain behind, its hard. Is being able to say goodbye a horrible excuse. Even though they aren't dead, for some of them, we might not ever get to see them again and you don't remember Vatheon when you return home. You remember them as long as you remain here.
