Decisions

So in two days I have to decide on a car to buy.  The final two on my list are the Scion tc and the VW New Beetle Convertible.  Really, I'm deciding between a blue coupe and a red convertible.  And I can't make up my mind.  Thoughts?

I'd have to go with the Scion.

I've spent a fair amount of time in both (I didn't own both, but am friends with folks who do/did). I really like the Scion, always have. The New Beetle has its attractions, especially with my growing affection for convertibles, but the Scion has is the better performing car, has a better interior, *and* Seattle is convertible-unfriendly 8 months out of the year.

The latter point I came up with recently when convincing myself to not buy a new car *and* to not buy a convertible. I spent the Memorial Day weekend in Los Angeles driving around in a convertible red Mustang and ever since I've been wanting one.

A blue couple of what? ::ducks::

You know my vote already. What happened to the Mini convertible? Did you decide against it after all?

GASP! My vote is for the Mini convertible. ^Xaandria=le smart. Minis are cute. I would've begged for a Mini if I hadn't gotten my mum's old car.

Except I think he's trying to ignore the whole "cute car" thing, which is why he's hung up on the beetle in the first place, as it's a "girly" car. Also, apparently it isn't a very good drive.

Yes, but with a good stripe a Mini is cute in an entirely different way than the hippie-girly cuteness of the Beetle. The Mini has a fun British, let's make a bad joke about size kind of cute.

Which isn't a good drive? The Mini or the Beetle? (Never having driven either. Mmm, I dream of the day when I could snag a test drive of an original Mini.)

The VW out of affinity for Volkswagen. Of course I wouldn't take car advice from a guy who doesn't own a car.
