Wholeheartedly agreed. For me, it's great because my preferred genre of games are the kind where I don't have to have any actual skill--RPGs and the like. I don't have to have t3h mad skillz in order to play the game like in other co-op modes.
Likewise, it means that I can actively participate in a game with Jer, rather than just sit and watch or limiting him to beginner's or easy modes.
I often joke that I am not a gamer, and really, I'm not. Infrequent WoW playing and a fixation on odd RPGs and Harvest Moon does not a gamer make. But this is a game that I can play and enjoy along with my boyfriend, and that makes me happy. Likewise, this is a great game for a platform like the Wii that encourages family playing--I can easily see a parent-child team having a blast playing SMG.
Edit: Dammit, now I wanna play. What are you doing tonight, Jeremy? I might skip work. :P

We'll likely eventually hit this game, too, though I'm not sure how much co-op we're going to get in. We'll see.
