He should have listened to Amy, indeed. Damn, I wish I'd seen that interview (I didn't watch much back then, and never bothered catching up); I could have used a direct quote or two to add that extra touch of believability to the piece.

I have to admit, this series is flowing so easily that it almost scares me a little. This is disturbingly easy to write - only two days for this part, and I'm already part-way through the next. I don't know what it is about this chronic abuse premise, but it just seems so easy...

...As selfish as this is, I'm a little peeved that this came out AFTER I posted my story, so I couldn't change it to reflect his injury...

But much more than that, I'm upset for him. Damn, that's gotta be a piss off. I really hope it happened at the end, so he didn't have to work injured - I guess that's why we don't let people tape our wrists together (which was so hot I almost creamed myself) before someone sends us slamming through a table, right Matt?
