I have nothing better to do at 9:30 on a Friday morning.

So, I got into biochemistry. That means no advanced lab and no lab courses this semester. Suddenly, I feel like my life has no meaning. What am I supposed to do with myself on Monday and Wednesday afternoons? Otherwise, classes are fun and exciting. PChem is strangely entertaining, Biochem is awesomely cool (because it's all the stuff from bio and chem that I love...I am such a geek), Music History is getting better (we start actually studying music history next week...yay!), and Spanish 33 is, uh, Spanish 33.

DDR and Kingdom Hearts have taken over the suite. We play the games for hours at a time, which is much fun. DDR is coming back to me (after that one time I played with Nicole way back when...I forget when that was), and Kingdom Hearts is kicking my butt. I've gotten through Ansem (in that EVIL battle in Hollow Bastion) and started the Hades Tournament, which has been an experience in itself. Play nine average level entries in which you basically just mindlessly kill things, and then they send in someone mean and difficult to beat. But, it's all fun. yxonomei saves me from much death with her mad watching skills (she tells me when to heal).

I quote yxonomei from last night, during rounds of Kingdom Hearts Madness:
"Heal Sharon! Heal! And not the heal with two e's!"
"Go towards the ass! The ass is your friend!" (when I was struggling to fight Cerberus - unfortunately, I had never fought the big ugly dog before)
"Beat them like the naughty little boys they are!" (during the battle against Leon and Cloud)

Orchestra: There are five clarinets! We don't need five clarinets. This is insane. The new freshman boy is okay. He tried to show off on the Copland Clarinet Concerto - I hope Lamkin doesn't bump me down as I am not sufficiently convinced that this kid is better than me. AND, Lamkin is equally crazy by having us play Mahler No. 1. Death and doom. I love the piece, but I shall die a horrible death in trying to figure out rhythms, transpositions at the top of my range, dreadful key signatures and more notes than I know what to do with. I keep forgetting that Mahler requires four clarinet parts...it's crazy!

Badminton: I still don't know how much money I have for the year. The guys at the gym don't respond to my emails or phone calls (time to bring on the big guns...whatever they are). Grr...but Turf Dinner next Monday will hopefully bring more people to the club. Need to write that club email before then...eheheh...

I leave on this note: West Wing and 21 Jumpstreet are horribly entertaining and enthralling. I blame commodoremarie and solarwind.
