I'm not sure this would really be considered "opening a business", but I wanted to run it by someone before we posted anything about it. The idea is that John Watson would post an advertisement to the network (wherever ads go, is there an equivalent to the Yellow Pages?) offering the detective services of Sherlock Holmes (both of them) for hire. IC this is his attempt to find cases for them so they don't get bored. OOC this would mainly be a plot device for us to reference NPC cases, with the possibility of PC cases if someone has an idea for one. John, Sherlock, and Holmes would all continue to work regular missions for now, since this isn't going to be steady income by any means.
Eventually, after they could reasonably expect to have built up a reputation and clients, we might make it an actual business and their primary income. For now it would be more like a hobby in their spare time.
