The new Grey's Promos have really almost kinda sorta left me inspired. And almost kinda sorta not hating the show as much as I did post-May 17th, 2007. haha. We'll see how long that lasts. ;)

This was very much in character. You even caught the "baby" thing. I absolutely loved it!

And OMG are the promos making you happy too? I saw them posted online at school, but I couldn't get to them (all my friends thought I was going to spaz out lol), so I downloaded them, and now I'm sending them to all my friends.

Despite all the evidence, I'm a little hopeful. *sigh* One month.

So great...yet, so tough to see Mer doing what she does, if that makes any sense. LOL!

This was very much in character! I can so see each of them doing and say exactly what you wrote. I can't wait for more!!!!

Definitely very much in character. Mer being flighty and Derek - as dreamy as he is - getting frustrated by it. It was heartbreaking though, him getting dressed and all that, but great great writing. And I just loved how Mer stops herself, when she started thinking about wanting a ring... well YOU stopped her :), but still that is so 100% Meredith Grey thinking. Great work and I'm looking forward to the next (of many many?) chapters...

yeah, I wanted to convey the fact that, whileI hate it, Meredith often compares herself and her situation - good and bad - to Cristina and almost believes, since Cris & Burke are the only current example of married people she has in her life, that she has to do it the way Cristina did it. that her and Derek's marriage would have to be Burke & Yangs (as in no wedding and no ring), or if not them, like her parents or like Derek's to Addison- she hasn't yet realized that her marriage is whatever she wants it to be, whatever she makes it. :)

that was so good! their reactions were perfect. mer freaking out was both funny and frustrating to read! but i guess that's how our meredith is. i'm looking forward to another update!

haha thanks. its only going to get more frustrating, I guess, but not for too long since i don'tintend for this to be a hugely multi-part story. And I finally realized I can make my chapters longer so it doesn't drag out as much. I'm going to try that and see how it works.

This chapter was so in character...I loved it! And I love where you're going with this story. I really enjoy your writing style...it's never too sappy or out of character or unrealistic. Can't wait for more! (hurry, for my sanity? Joking, of course).

thanks Kat! according to the "what kind of writer are you?" quiz I took a while back, I am a "Fluff" writer, which makes total sense cuz I tend to never really let the angst last too long - I somehow make them make up after, like, three sentences ;) So I'm really trying now to... I dunno.. balance out the sap. We'll see though.
