Went to a bead show over the weekend with Mum and now I have more things with holes in them and a new project! It will become whole host of new projects--Mum does beadweaving and stuff that involves actually having to count beads and use particular sizes and plan stuff out but I've just rediscovered bead embroidery, which is very friendly to O YES

Thanks! The funny thing about the little guys in the original print is how blase they look. "Oh, it is just a huge wave, not quite tsunami-grade, perhaps we will die and perhaps we will have hotpot for dinner."

Aw, merci. It helps that I'm stitching directly over a printout of the print...this is a seriously forgiving artform.

Heh. Man, these things just come to you and I'm a little bit jealous some times but we all have our talents in different places.

How would that work with a necklace? And you do have an Etsy shop, right?

I got an Etsy but it's been inactive for ages while I was focusing on ZOMG. It's "Sparklepizza". :) Don't have a link handy but there's nothing to see at the mo' anyway.

(as for the necklace, what you do is cut out the fabric the beading is on, glue it to a piece of leather, and bind the raw edges. Then add attaching bits as needed.)
