Holy crap, it's raining. I had no idea how much I missed it but I so did: I was a bit tense about Seventh stuff but now I am all relaxed and smiley and O HAY IT'S WET OUTSIDE, LIFE IS NICE. One measley little month without appreciable precipitation and I get all wistful. I am clearly unfit to live anywhere else in the country.

I find that huddling in a closet with a damp cloth over your head is fairly therapeutic. :)

I might actually try this if I can clean out one of the closets. We have to run a humidifier year-round here! It's crazy-making!

I am *so* happy to have rain again. It is nice to clean the crap out of the air, and i am hoping our lawn revives just a little from it. It's been all pokey and crunchy instead of green and soft.

Isn't it nice? I missed it too. It felt like the whole world breathed a heavy sigh of relief. I couldn't help smiling even though i was trapped at school with no jacket or hat for the walk home. :)
