Ok. I've had it. I know. The show is the most important and me missing throws everything off and blah blah blah blah blah. I've appologized. I did warn you before hand that I do have other commitments. And yes, it DOES matter whether you can wrap your mind around that or not. I did this as a favor to you guys. I am done doing favors that take my ( Read more... )

Fuck off? That's real nice anonymous May 8 2006, 20:02:43 UTC
You have disappionted me as a friend. I thought you were someone who understood repsonsibilities and what he meant to other people. You want to know something? I'm not the only one who thinks that you're letting everyone down. Don't be selfish and immature. Once you signed up you became just like the rest of us, with responsibilities. The aforementioned person is the ONLY one who thinks what you are doing is okay.
If you had something to say to me, you should have said it to my face..
seriously, saying condesending things like "you can't wrap your mind around that" is not cool or a way to keep friends who are seriously pissed at you.

For the record "dissappointed friend" there are more than one type of committment. I also have worked on crew for shows at my school and there are times when other comitments come up. I've had friends who have actually been in shows and have missed opening night for beauty padgents or family reunions. Like family commitments, having a girlfriend is a committment too. You also need to understand that while you are trying to tell him that "this is theatre and your actions can change the show completely" you also need to keep in mind that this is live theatre and in live theatre things will always happen and will always change. Perhaps it is you who is being selfish. and to your comment "is not cool or a way to keep friends who are seriously pissed at you," if your friendship is riding on this stage crew experience, you may need to reevaluate your ( ... )

You're right. Who are you to judge. No one. Who the hell are you? First off you don't even know me. I hate to use that line but you don't know who I am or my side of the story. And by the way, if you're going to use someone's statement against them, do it properly. I was talking about the tone, not his actions. So I don't care who you are, but this is none of your business. So perhaps it is you who doesn't belong on judging. As you said, who are you to judge, so thank you for showing that you understand that nothing you said has any real meaning because you really don't have any standing.
