The last time I saw a foot like that, it was mine. A cow stepped on it. Nothing like having 2300 pounds of bovine stand on your foot. I hope you get better soon.

I have tussled with a few bovines in the past and understand the pain of being stepped on. I had a horse kick me in the kneecap once, got too close to her rear while grooming.

Ah, horses. Horses hate me. Seriously. I've been stepped on, crushed into the stall wall, headbutted out of a loose box, bucked off, rolled off and bitten. The last time I was bitten the owner was so shocked, she said that the mare had never done anything like that in her 18 years of life. A trainer who was Souix said that I smell like a predator.

I don't dislike horses, though. I'm just very careful around them and prefer them to be out of arm's reach, preferably on the other side of a sturdy fence.
