I can't believe it

This is my last day before I go back to work.  I honestly thought that I would catch up on live journal while off on maternity leave.  So much for that thought.  =)  I just never got around to checking it.  I barely even checked my email while I was off ( Read more... )

Im really really happy for you guys! Thank you so much for the picture too, she is gorgeous and dont smack me but I really see Scott in her! *G* Who knew he'd be such a pretty girl! ;) Ive got a little something for her, but luckily I bought it big, so I can be my usual procrastinating self and take my time getting it to you *G*

Believe me, knowing nothing can be a blessing, just dont worry too much, everything tends to happen when its supposed to and you just need to go with the flow ;) Lots of big deep breaths :) Pretend you're both really young and not afraid of anything or worried about anything like I was when I had Kerry *G* Its the older parents that get scared and worry a lot, cause we've all been around and know what the heck CAN go wrong. The kids who have babies dont freak out at all over anything *G*

Thank you, we think she is pretty cute. I do think she has his nose and eyes, who knows though, they change so much as they grow. I do really hope she keeps his eyes. You have actually come close to getting a few phone calls while I was in panic states but I got through them.

Speaking of gifts I have been meaning to tell you that she loves the jungle music thingy that you got her. It is on her cradle and she watches it a lot.

They do change quickly, thats why the photography companies love em so much *G*

I dont mind phone calls at all, just remember, if Im asleep, the ringer is off and at work, I cant hear it! otherwise, Im happy to attempt to answer questions :) Heck, I may learn more about growth and development and new babies than Id ever imagined whlie studying for the exam Im takin next month *G* There's so much we dont deal with at work that folks have questions about and I always try to remember what happened with Kerry. Now that she's pushin 20yrs old, my memory ain't so great.. *G* But Im always happy to try or to point to a good website! LOL

Im glad she likes the music thing, I love things like that :)

Sweet. I will get back down there one of these years. I don't know if I should go before or after Aubrie understands what it is. =)

Heck, D*C and MOC are family-friendly enough to take her when she's old enough to dress up and use as a costume prop! raviens little boy Max did great at D*C last year, imho and he looked cute as a button in his costumes! Use her while she's too young to protest it! ;)

I can't even imagine having to go back to work after being off as long as you have been, I have hard enough time going back after a weekend

Glad to hear all's going well for you, Scott, and Peanut.

and it's good to see you posting again!

None of us knew much as first-time parents, if that's any consolation. You learn on the job, pretty much, and thankfully babies are fairly tough and resilient. You guys love your daughter, and I'm sure you've been giving her, and will continue to give her, excellent care.

I understand how you feel about leaving her when you start back at work. Missing our eldest badly was a major reason why Connie ended her nursing career.

And once again, congratulations to all three of you!
