I went through a period of time where I just didn't feel up to writing anything, although I did read my friends list every day. I wasn't in a very happy place, for various reasons, but I've been back up to speed for some time now, and it's time to get back

Welcome back! My life's been pretty busy in the past 6 months too and I've not been able to check my friends page as frequently as I would like. Been trying desperately to post on my own LJ at least intermittently so I can continue to document this phase of my life. I'm so glad I picked this moment to check my friends page so I could see what's been happening with you. Sure, ask away. :-) I'm no expert, but I know a little bit. Our garden was enormous when I was younger; I still remember some things.

Marigolds will also keep bugs away. We used to keep them scattered throughout the garden, especially around the tomatoes. They're kind of stinky, but they look nice.
