I wish the world would just pause
I wish time stood still
I wish I could go back through time
I wish that regret never existed
I wish that I was perfect
I wish I wasn’t a failure
I wish…isn’t good enough
He wishes he could understand the thoughts going through my mind
He wishes he knew what to say to make me feel better
He wishes he could make me stop regretting
He wishes he could grant my wishes
He wishes that I could understand that I’m not a failure
He wishes that I’d realize that I was good enough
He wishes…that his wishes would come true
If only life were easy
We wouldn’t need to make wishes
If only life were perfect
We wouldn’t have any regrets
If only people would stop thinking these thoughts
Would…our lives be perfect?
