I don’t know what has become of me
It’s as if I am no longer the same
The me I used to know or I though I knew
I became a stranger overnight
It was because of those ocean blue eyes staring at me
Those oh so perfect lips…full and luscious
Shaped into an adorable pout
It’s torture, painful torture
It was because of that perfectly fixed hair
Perfectly chiseled into a moppy mess
And those high, defined cheekbones
That any girl would be envious
I don’t know what has become of me
It’s as if I am no longer the same person I used to be
It all changed mere moments ago
When I entered the bus
If only if only
I could hear your voice
Or see you stare back at me
Just once, or maybe more
Even if you breathe my way
See me, glance at me
Perhaps I’d regain composure
Or maybe you’ll be here tomorrow once more
