Sherlock Holmes vid "Zebra"

I've been wanting to make this vid ever since I saw the clip in the Sussex Vampire with Holmes and thought it would go perfectly with the line "be the walking dead". I think the song suits Holmes the chameleon. Though it's not a very deep or meaningful vid. I've tried very hard to get the rhythms right in it. I'm not sure how I feel about it in ( Read more... )

I like it, great timing! It probably wouldn't have worked that well with another Holmes, Brett was the quirkiest of them all ;-)

He's my favourite Holmes, followed closely by Basil Rathbone.

Well, all I can say is wow. The whole thing made me grin -- great clip choice and sense of rhythm -- especially that bit in the middle where Holmes is sawing away on his "electric" violin! -- and the contrast between the Victorian background and the way everything around Holmes seems to explode into liveliness is well set off by the music. Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you for your kind comments, I'm glad you liked it:) I tried to pick some of the more amusing clips if they fit with the timing.

especially that bit in the middle where Holmes is sawing away on his "electric" violin!

I tend to prefer the clips with the lyrics attached as it's easier to know what sort of clip needs to slot in, in those places. Instrumental bits are more tricky, I'm glad that part worked for you*G*

Thank you for the feedback:)

Yeah, instrumental sections are hard to fill -- but having a general catchall theme makes things easier, I think. In any case, it worked.

You're welcome!
