I wish management in all places realised how much a simple thank-you means when someone has worked as hard as you've been working recently. The card and gift are a lovely thought. It sounds as though you've got a very supportive team there and I'm really happy for you - it couldn't be more different from the Boss from Hell you were working for, and really shows what a good decision you made to change your job :-)

thanks

it really does show that doesn't it. Today was much quieter, things are beginning to settle down a little - but they'll probably hot up again soon *g*

And yes, a simple thank you is wonderful - a gift is downright amazing. and all are thoroughly appreciated.

This goes to show - I think- how good things are when you work in a team that knows the meaning of the word

HUGS

That's the best feeling to be acknowledged when you're just starting a new job. You must feel elated!

I do, I've been walking on cloud nine since. Really NO ONE I've ever worked with has done that since I was 18 and first started working so 32 years and a first time.

My card is sitting on my desk under my screen at work. It gives me a warm feeling every time I see it.

:)
