My daughter passed her senior reporter's exam and so has secured a pay rise at her paper. My husband gave a presentation on housing to a select committee at the Houses of Parliament and we topped that all off with a delightful Christmas. My husband and myself, my daughter and her partner, her partner's parents and grandmother, as well as his brother and sister in law and their two children, spent a wonderful day together with good food and good company.
WOW! You have had quite a year! I'm so sorry about your car, but I'm glad you're all right and I hope you get it all sorted soon. I know I don't always comment but I always read your posts and have a great time living vicariously through you. *g* Your trip to Vancouver sounded like the stuff dreams are made of and your new job is wonderful. You are so much happier now than when you were working for the bakery. I'm so happy for you, and wishing you and your family a very happy New Year. :)
It's always good to hear from you. Thank you for your kid words. :)
I certainly did have a fabulous time at both the convention in Chicago and in Vancouver with Sue and Russ.
My new job is a delight most of the time, it has stresses and strains but all of them are much more acceptable when they are due to fluctuations in patients activity rather than the variable whims of an unreasonable boss.
HUGS to you and yours and may 2009 be kind to you. S xx

Didn't realise your other half was involved in housing *G*
And I've got my fingers crossed 2009 will at least equal the good bits of 2008 and miss out the bad!
