Remember that awful heat wave, back when Ken and I were working at Faneuil Hall, and the night we spent hanging out at the tiki bar till it closed. All three of us were flirting with that bartender, and then all four of us sneaking back to the store to sleep there because it was still over 90F at 2 in the morning. What was the bartender's name--Ryan? Randy? Well, Randy would be appropriate... *smirk*
Those bath mats were never the same, we had to discount them 75% to sell them.
I think we cleaned the mats with that rug shampooer and used them for displays after that but my memory's a little foggy. I know we had fun in the suds, though, and hosing off felt really good in the heat.
Actually, thinking back, one of our more memorable moments was probably telling our spouses that we had competed in the novice category for the women's mud-wrestling championships and qualified for the semi-finals. The looks on their faces were priceless. Yours simply looked completely baffled as his jaw hit the floor and mine turned the oddest shade of avocado green.
