Today I learned that Vic, a.k.a. Victoria School of the Performing and Visual Arts, a.k.a. my junior high and high school, was extremely damaged by arson a couple of nights ago; the library was wrecked, and surrounding classrooms and lockers got damaged by smoke. I found out on the Edmonton Journal site which is not a horrible way to find out. I totally agree that the Facebook group is inappropriate and misleading as Vic didn't actually burn down. There's supposed to be a big story in the Journal today so I would check it out.

(Can you possibly help out a friend of mine with some sax stuff? If you feel like it or have time, he is starting to teach junior high beginner band and he has no idea about woodwinds, only ever having played brass or percussion before. It's 1_5_15671 who posts on my journal not infrequently, and his sax predicament is on youre_rushing. I only know a tiny bit about sax, I played it for a couple of summers back in high school... like I said, if you have time or feel like it, go take a look...)
