Imagine, for a moment, that you have to travel a distance of seven kilometres (or, theoretically, the distance from Berklee College to my house in Allston. Theoretically.) Walkable, most certainly; under ideal conditions it would probably take you 45 minutes to an hour. Now imagine you also have to transport a bicycle for those seven kilometres

I have no idea how it got wrecked! I just had it locked up to a post on Tuesday, and I came by to ride it home, and the back rim was wrecked! Pete called it "banana'd". I like it :) The word, not the condition, the condition being TOTALLY CRAPPY. Gah. Anyways. I'm home soon!! Like really soon. As soon as I get to the point where I can not bitch about how sore I am, and how crappy riding my old bike is, I'll call you. It may take a couple of days. Because I'm really sore. Like... OWWWW.

Be careful with the fixie, it's an incredibly scary thing. Practice before you ride it down Comm Ave. I once borrowed his bike on a whim to ride to Nicole's, and it was scary as fuck.

I did try to practice before I left last night; at that point I realized that I couldn't actually get on Josh's bike, much less ride it. Mountain biking it is, then...

Sucks it was the back wheel. Had it been the front wheel that got munted, you could have done what I call a "dancing bear" (basically walking with the bike upright on its hind back wheel), however walking the bike like that with the front wheel is a bit of a mish.

I know, I actually tried it that way for a few blocks, but obviously, it didn't work. Stupid back wheels.
